Because Father’s Day is in June, and my birthday is on 6/4, I thought that it might be less stressful if we celebrated both of them on one day. However, due to conflicting schedules and prior commitments, that didn’t happen and this was truly my month!
Five days of the week we go without. On Saturday and Sunday, we get to have a morning meal. It’s even better when my son John comes down because we do bacon, sausage, eggs, etc. John’s not here this weekend so I’m going for pancakes.
One of my favorite dishes. I like to stir fry the dried red peppers in oil first so that the seasoned oil imparts it’s spiciness to everything else.
