Flight departed shortly after 9:30pm on Wed, 3/27 and arrived in Dublin at 2:10pm on 3/28.
Flying Business class on Aer Lingus has some great advantages! We arrived at the airport about 2 hours prior to departure and immediately went to the Business Class Lounge (they share on wiht Virgin Atlantic). There, we had free drinks and food while we waited.
Boarding was easy as well, although since one of our travelers had recently had foot surgery and was in a wheelchair, he was pushed around by a very nice person in a wheelchair who beckoned us to follow wherever she went. If that meant following her to the front of the line, then that’s what we did!
The seats were very interesting. I wasn’t really able to enjoy the full recline mode since my feet didn’t really fit in the space at the end of the ‘bed”. I was able to get about 1/2 hour sleep during the flight.
The meals were exceptional! I had sirloin steak with vegetables or dinner and then a full irish (wihtout the black and white pudding) breakfast.
Throughout, the attendants were very attendant.
